ToggleDiscover ATM innovation and civil-military coordination in action
The ATM-EXCITE project is proud to announce its participation in the SESAR Walking Tours at Airspace World 2025 – the global event where the future of air traffic management (ATM) takes centre stage.
This year’s edition will feature 17 walking tours, more than double the number in 2024, taking attendees on guided journeys across the exhibition floor to explore Europe’s latest ATM research and innovation.
Why you should join a SESAR walking tour
These tours offer a front-row seat to the cutting-edge solutions driving the Digital European Sky. Here’s what you can expect:
✅ Meet ATM experts
Engage with the teams behind SESAR projects like ATM-EXCITE and learn firsthand about their innovative work in civil-military interoperability, cybersecurity, and data confidentiality.
✅ See real innovation
No abstract ideas here. These are tested, deployable solutions being developed under the SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking and Horizon Europe programmes.
✅ Connect with the ATM ecosystem
Network with air navigation service providers (ANSPs), regulators, industry leaders, and EU-funded research projects.
✅ Be part of Europe’s ATM future
Witness how European collaboration is reshaping the skies to be safer, greener, and more secure for both civil and military operations.
How ATM-EXCITE contributes
The ATM-EXCITE project is developing advanced tools and frameworks to enhance civil-military coordination in ATM, tackle cybersecurity risks, and ensure data confidentiality for military operations without compromising airspace efficiency.
Our participation in the SESAR Walking Tours will highlight how our research supports:
-
Secure and trusted exchange of surveillance data
-
Real-time civil-military trajectory coordination
-
Integration of innovative verification and anonymisation technologies
These developments align with the goals of the European ATM Master Plan and contribute to a more interoperable, secure and efficient airspace.
